Worship for All
Once a
month our Sunday 10 am service
is specially designed to be child friendly.
We call these
services 'Worship for All'
because they are suitable for
people of all age groups,
young and old. The children
stay with us in church for the
whole service, instead of
spending part of the service
in Sunday School.
As on other
Sundays the service includes
Holy Communion.
'Worship for all' is usually held on the third Sunday of a month, but their are a couple of special occasions like Mothering Sunday that can fall at other times.
Forthcoming 'Worship for All' dates are:
- 21st August 2011
- 18th September
- 16th October - Harvest (Parade)
- 13th November - Remembrance (Parade) - please note the different time: 10:50 am
Parade: Three times
a year the local uniformed
organisations (cubs, scouts,
etc) join in the service. These
also include Open Communion, when the
consecrated bread (and wine
for adults) is offered
to everyone.
