How it works
Since several people have been asking, here's a bit more on how it works (for the full definitive version please refer to the amazon site). After going to amazon through these affiliate links, any items that are both placed in your basket and paid for within 24 hours will count. This also includes items from third party sellers. If after following this link, you then follow another site's affiliate link before buying something, the referral fee will be earned by the latter site instead.

There are no signs of any of this while you are doing your shopping at amazon. If you are particularly concerned as to whether an item has been included, you are welcome to email Clare with details of the item and day and she should be able to check for you. While item descriptions, prices and dates of purchase are viewable from the affiliate account, buyers' identities are not.

All the above links have the same effect, it doesn't matter what you're buying (you don't need to click on 'books' if you are buying a book).
